von Angie Tennyson

Schöck Isokorb® has been awarded Architectural Products, Product Innovation Award. The award recognizes architectural-related products with innovation and outstanding leadership in education, sustainability initiatives, and standards developments.

With nearly 300 submissions, entries were judged by a diverse body, including architects, interior designers, lighting designers and veteran A/E/C writers. The judges chose Schöck Isokorb®, recognizing its’ innovation for a safe, uncomplicated solution to minimize thermal bridges, providing greater indoor comfort, saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions.

“This inventive technology solves a difficult problem that is usually overlooked-due-to its complexity and hidden nature,” says an impressed judge. “The continuity of thermal breaks at cantilevered elements can make the difference between an excellent high-performing building that is optimized not only from an energy perspective but for a long-term maintenance and occupant health.”

The November issue of Architectural Products features Isokorb® as one of this year’s most innovative product introductions. Congratulations to Isokorb® for receiving this award. This is an impressive start to the entry of Isokorb® to the US market!
