Isokorb® at the Top

Isokorb® has been installed in a $1.4 billion project in lower Manhattan. The project includes a fascinating oculus (oeil de boeuf), measuring at 110 feet (33.5 meters) tall and 53 feet (16 meters) diameter. This eye, protruding from the main building of the New York Fulton Street Transit Station, is designed to provide annual daylight to the atrium civic space below, while also catching the eye of the 275,000 daily passengers of the transit station.

Thermal Breaks in The Big Apple

In November, Schöck held a seminar titled, Sustainable Design Knowledge: A Closer Look at Structural Thermal Breaks, at the Center for Architecture in New York.

The event was sold out two weeks prior, with 34 architects arriving after a long day in the office, to learn more about thermal break solutions.

The Centretown Citizens Ottawa Corporation (CCOC), celebrated their “Topping-off” party at Beaver Barracks.
