Hello everyone!

My name is Paulina Arczewska and I’m a new co-op student working full time for the Schoeck Canada, and in the same time I’m a part – time student at University of Waterloo. Unfortunately my adventure with Schock Company will last only three months, but I’m very happy to have this opportunity to learn end get great experiences even in this small period of time. Hopefully my path will cross again with Schoeck Canada maybe same day in the future. Right now after these three months I have to go back to my PhD work on the university, which is closely connected with GFRP bend bars.

Originally I’m from Poland, where I got my M.Sc. (structural engineer) degree at University of Technology in Kielce. My adventure with Canada started almost three years ago, when during my first visit I met a charming, with a good heart and handsome gentleman. One year later this young man became my husband.

The biggest passion in my life is traveling, unfortunately I don’t have time to realize this passion right now, but I hope in the future I will be able to add some names of places to my check list.  I have already visited places like:

- China

-  Egypt

- France

- Dominican Republic

and of course Niagara Fall which is one of the most amazing places in the world. I hope that list will be expanded soon.

That’s a short summary of my life. In those few words I would like to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I am very happy to become a member of great Schoeck’s family even if it is only for this short period of time.
